As I mentioned here, I first saw Ten's first episode, The Christmas Invasion, and went "Eh." Then I noticed that prior to that Christopher Eccelston played Doctor Who. Paul Cornell, writer of one of my favorite Nine episodes, is friends with Javier Grillo-Marxuach, writer of the show I cannot name. My mind, it is blown, specially since I was just sobbing over "Father's Day" yesterday while doing my ironing.
